Adam Jobes: Adam was born in England and started playing golf in the Midlands at the age of 13 on the local 9-hole golf course and this is where he found the love for the sport. Adam joined the PGA in 2014 after playing for 13 years as an amateur at many levels from Junior county golf from the age of 15 to 18 also playing in the men’s squad. Adam won many events through the years including both junior and men’s club championships and also playing on the Midlands Amateur tour. At the age of 27 Adam decided he wanted to join the PGA and make a career from teaching the game of golf. He has coached for the last 3 years teaching all levels and all ages of golfers from 1-1 coaching sessions to 4 days all aspects golf schools. Adam has now joined the David Leadbetter academy here in Hanoi Vietnam where he wishes to further his career and follow his dreams in coaching.

- When was the first time you picked up a club?
When I was 13 years old, I used to play football as a child but a knee injury stopped me playing so I need to find a sport which allowed me to play pain free. My friends played golf so I decided to give the game a try and got hooked and have played ever since.
- Who is your golf idol?
- Who would you most like to give a lesson?
Jim Furyk. It would be great to really study his swing and work with him.
- What is your favorite training aid or drill?
It’s A swing pivot drill. This give a great feel of how to pivot.
- What is one rule change you would make to golf?
Ban and mobile phones on the golf course.
